Tommy’s Sandwiches, 2026

Tommy’s Sandwiches opened their doors in January 2026. In this film, Tommy takes us through his journey from teenage Subway store manager to tech professional, father, and founder, sharing the highs, lows, and unexpected turns that led to the launch of Tommy's Sandwiches.

Mycelium, 2025

Created for the Department for Business and Trade's Smart Data Challenge.

This film features carbon accountant Tom Cullingford and Mycelium founder Tom Carpenter, exploring the challenges of carbon accounting and the growing demand for transparent, accessible emissions data. Through expert insights and real-world perspectives, we explored Mycelium's mission to make carbon data more actionable, and effective in supporting the transition to net zero.

VoltView, 2025

Created for the Department for Business and Trade's Smart Data Challenge.

This film explores the growing impact of rising energy costs on small businesses and highlights how data-driven solutions like VoltView can help organisations make smarter, more cost-effective energy decisions.

The Data Spectrum, 2023

We worked with the Open Data Institute to tell the story behind the Data Spectrum, a framework that has helped organisations understand and discuss data sharing since 2015. This film explores how a simple idea evolved into a globally recognised tool used across sectors including healthcare, sport, banking and energy.

Data as Culture, 2021

Created for the ODI's Data as Culture programme, this film was one of Maya and Eve's first collaborations, both filming and editing the project.

Featuring contributions from curator Hannah Redler-Hawes, artist Julie Freeman, poet Mr Gee, and a diverse range of artists, the documentary explores how data can act as a catalyst for creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. It celebrates ten years of artistic experimentation through the Open Data Institute's Data as Culture programme.
