Eve and Maya first met in 2021 on a music video shoot along Brighton seafront. What began as a one-off collaboration quickly became a creative partnership, built on a shared instinct for visual storytelling and a thoughtful, hands-on approach to production.
They went on to work together regularly, including producing video content for The Open Data Institute, the organisation founded by Tim Berners-Lee and Nigel Shadbolt. Alongside this, both continued to develop their craft across high-end television, feature films, documentaries, music videos, and branded content - bringing experience from larger productions into intimate, story-led work.
Over time, they found themselves drawn to the same kind of filmmaking: work that takes the time to understand people, properly uncover what makes a story worth telling, and translate that into films that feel honest, considered, and visually engaging.
In 2025, Eve and Maya joined forces to establish Twin Frames Films - a production company created to help businesses, brands, and organisations tell their stories.
Jake Ou Director of Operations
Jake leads the operational and commercial side of Twin Frames, bringing structure, strategy, and client focus to each project. His background spans business development, client relationships, operations, and project coordination, giving him a strong understanding of how to turn early ideas into organised, purposeful work.
At Twin Frames, Jake supports the process from discovery through to delivery, helping uncover what each client is trying to communicate and how video can serve their broader business goals. Behind the scenes, he works closely with Eve and Maya to build the systems, partnerships, and client experience that allow the creative work to thrive.
Our Creative Network
Alongside our core team, we work with a trusted network of freelance producers, editors, camera operators, sound recordists, colourists, motion designers and production crew. Each project team is built around the needs of the brief, with collaborators brought in where their skills and availability are the right fit.
Dylan Looney
Camera Op & Colourist
Dylan is a Camera Operator and Colourist who regularly collaborates with XYZ on documentary productions. Drawing on several years of experience working as a DIT, he has developed a strong understanding of digital workflows and camera technologies, bringing both technical expertise and creative insight to every production. Dylan will be working with Twin Frames Films across a range of projects as both a Camera Operator and Colourist.
Orla Jones
Sound Recordist & Sound Editor
Orla designs sound to illuminate and speak honestly to the core message of every project. Drawing on atmosphere, texture, rhythm and score, she creates distinctive, immersive sonic worlds for audiovisual media.
Her experience spans production sound and post-production sound design across fiction, experimental film, feature documentaries and video essays.
With a background in Film & Screen Theory (UAL) and an MA in Filmmaking: Sound Recording, Post-Production & Design (Goldsmiths), Orla combines creative intuition, empathetic listening and technical precision to articulate the essence of every story she works on.
